Experience
This internship, starting in the Summer of 2022, began in-office and extended to remote as I went back to school. This is all about learning how to move things fast and take the initiative on the team. I’ve also spent my free time networking with other designers, researchers, engineers, and managers from various teams to learn more about their teams and favorite parts of their job.

What I’ve learned
Research is never done.
Being the one and only UX resource for a new product with dozens of features, getting started to understand the product and prioritize different functionalities were the biggest challenges for me. I’ve learned to move ahead without knowing the perfect answer to the questions, but write them down and look back as I learn more about the product.
The importance of being proactive about seeking feedback.
Engaging with the team and stakeholders constantly to receive feedback on the constraints, limitations, and requirements was crucial to pushing my design forward. It allowed me to truly understand the feasibility, desirability, and viability of different versions of the wireframes.
Accomplishing time-boxed goals.
Setting goals and making timelines for each phase helped me with making progress even when there were drawbacks to some tasks. I’ve learned to walk past the hurdles and keep moving with trying multiple ideas.
